How is this different from hiring a fractional CFO?
Most fractional CFOs come from accounting and focus on clean P&Ls and tax-aligned reporting. We focus on the operational data layer — job-level margins, technician performance, dispatch efficiency, acquisition cost by channel. That’s where margin is actually made and lost in a field service business, and it requires a different skill set than traditional finance.

Do you work with businesses outside of HVAC and plumbing?
Yes — our engagements apply to any field service business where job costing, dispatch, and technician performance drive profitability. That includes electrical, mechanical, roofing, decking, foundation, flooring, and general contracting.

What software do you work with?
We work with whatever you already have — ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Workiz, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and most combinations thereof. We don’t require a platform switch.

What’s the minimum revenue to work with you?
Typically $1M+ in annual revenue. Below that, the data complexity usually doesn’t justify the engagement cost. We’ll tell you directly on the call if we think the timing isn’t right.

How quickly do engagements start after the call?
Usually within 1–2 weeks of the discovery call. We do a data audit in the first week to scope the actual engagement before committing to a timeline.
